In March 2021 we moved from the city of Darmstadt (159k inhabitants) to Wersau – a village in the Odenwald region (1,200 inhabitants), because we fell in love with this house. The subject matter of my photography started to change as I slowly started to adapt how I see – finding new perspectives in this unfamiliar context. In addition, how I was able to allocate my free time shifted from photography, to restoring a house from 1733.
